General rehearsal for the new programme

back to magazine overview

On February 7th, the new program of the ski show in Lech was presented to the public for the first time. It became a multimedia ski show that will be remembered for a long time to come. A big thank you goes to the organisation team, the Lech Ski School, the Lech ski lifts, the Alpincenter and the piste rescue, all of whom managed to put together a successful show.

Even before the show, summer and winter impressions from Lech Zürs were presented to the audience as large projections on the last part of the Schlegelkopf. These atmospheric pictures already created a lot of amazement, probably because the pictures could be seen in high resolution on the ski slope.

Shortly after 9:30 pm the show started. After Stefan Jochum's introductory remarks, the ski school teams demonstrated their skills and offered the audience spectacular downhill runs. These interludes alternated fluently with film excerpts from famous ski films of the past decades. This resulted in a captivating program, which immediately caught the audience's attention.

Whether Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible or Star Wars... There were no limits to the different choreographies. Another highlight was the famous chase scene from the movie "Der Weisse Rausch". Only this time the skier was hunted by snowboarders.

As a finale, the piste machines of the Lech ski lifts skillfully conjured up a choreography from pirouettes on the slope, before the entire team was celebrated with great applause by the audience.

We are looking forward to the ski shows in the coming season at this successful general rehearsal!
